The UK is in a rabbit welfare crisis.

Approximately 100,000 rabbits end up in rescue each year, having been dumped, neglected or simply because they have become unwanted , often purchased on a whim then surrendered as people have no idea of the complex & expensive care required to keep rabbits well.
Rabbits deserve better protection, just like dogs and cats.
The Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund are campaigning for
- Stronger breeder licensing laws
- Better enforcement & resources for Local Authorities
- A statutory Code of Practice for rabbit welfare for England
This Easter we’re asking you to write to your MP and ask them to support our call for change!
RWAF have produced a letter template that you can download over on their website – https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/better-legislation-for-rabbits/
