Some changes to how we are operating
Sadly we have now been told we need to leave our current location before the winter so we are having to make some significant changes for the foreseeable future until we can buy land to relocate to.
We will be moving our remaining rabbits into foster care with existing volunteers who have volunteered space. We will have reduced capacity of approximately 38 rabbits at any one time.
It’s important to note that our sponsor scheme will remain the same as it is now, adoptee support will not be impacted.
We will still be rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted or neglected domestic rabbits, prioritising those rabbits most in need of rescue placement. This will still including a bonding service wherever possible. Limited space for rabbits in need of permanent sanctuary will also still be available.
Our free advice on rabbit husbandry and behaviour will continue.
Our holiday boarding capacity will be significantly reduced and only available to existing boarders and adoptees.
Onsite volunteering and veterinary placements will be reduced until we are able to find a new site.
Our aim is for the charity to purchase a forever home to secure our long term future.
This is not the end of RRR, it’s the beginning of a new chapter.
A huge thank you to all our amazing supporters!
